Activity Description
Learn to fly in Co. Cork! Take to the skies for an experience you will never forget!
Upon arrival at the flight centre you will be given a short briefing from the instructor and introduced to the aircraft and all the equipment. Once airborne you will be taken to our training area and shown manoeuvres such as altitude and turns. You will be given control of the aircraft to practice these. It is also possible to fly over an area of their choice with permission from air traffic control.

1 Hour
How Long Do I Spend In the Air?
The time begins once the aircraft starts up so allowing 5-10 mins for taxiing and take off/landing, they will be in the air for 50-55mins
Activity Session Times
This activity runs daily and the session times are as follows;
9am – 10am
10am-11am
12noon – 1pm
1pm-2pm
2pm-3pm
What type of aircraft will the flight be in?
A Grob 115 A to be precise, which is a very modern, 2-seat training aircraft.
Restrictions
Participants must be 15 or older, in reasonably good health and able to climb into and out of the aircraft without assistance.
